This popular tea was named for Charles Grey, the second Earl in his line, who was Prime Minister to King William IV in the early 1800’s.
Earl Grey is often a blend of Indian and Sri Lankan black teas and the oil of bergamot, a small acidic orange, the peel of which produces an oil used in perfumes and confections. See our decaf and herbal versions below.
